Parashurama – The Warrior Avatar of Vishnu – Hindu Mythology – The Avatars of Vishnu

Parashurama, the sixth avatar of Vishnu, is known as the axe-wielding warrior. He appeared to restore cosmic balance, punishing the kshatriya kings who strayed from the path of dharma. Famous for his wrath and combat skills, Parashurama is unique among the avatars as a brahmin-warrior, symbolizing fierceness in the protection of justice and moral order.
