Higher fret access opens up the fingerboard to more adventurous lead players. And when you have a guitar that sounds this good thanks to a set of Lollar P-90 Pickups, you want as many frets as possible. Heritage has been up to some supremely cool stuff. Read on to learn more about their Artisan Aged Collection.
The Artisan Aged Collection pays homage to instruments that have been well traveled and played through the years. Each American-made guitar is meticulously relic’d by skilled artisans using custom techniques, resulting in a beautifully aged finish that’s truly authentic.
Part of this collection is the fully hollow, double cutaway H-530. Constructed using the same laminate maple rim set as our H-535 model, the open construction and lack of a full center block allows this guitar to deliver acoustic depth and warmth.
The addition of a set of Lollar P-90s provides warm and growling tones that players seeking a vintage sound desire. In short, the H-530 is perfect for anyone looking for a thinline hollow body with versatility to play both jazz and rock.
Heritage Guitars are made in the old Gibson Factory based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When Gibson headed South, a fair amount of the employee's at Kalamazoo stuck around and carried on the legacy of that factory, imploring the building techniques they learned at Gibson. Heritage continues to make incredible set neck instruments, solid bodies, semi hollow bodies and hollow bodies based off many of the classic designs we have all grown to love over the decades.
