Wat Than Luang, Buddha ceremony.

Traditional Buddha sworn ceremony.
Young boys in Thailand have the choice to serve as Buddhists monks once in their life and they have to go through a traditional ceremony.
Purpose is to purify them selves, get one step higher in society and gain respect.
A child get respect from his parents first when he will do it and the family getting also more respect from other people.
After the ceremony the new Buddha has to do minimum 7 days in a temple but can stay as long as he wish.
