Record of the Day 51: Hail to the King by Avenged Sevenfold (Call of Duty Zombies)

If you spent any part of your childhood or life playing Call of Duty Zombies, there's a pretty good chance you'll instantly recognize the song featured in this video.

This was Avenged Sevenfold's first album without their founding drummer, The Rev. They took a step back from the more complex arrangements of their earlier work and went towards a stripped down, classic heavy metal sound that still hits many today.

The featured track, Shepherd of Fire, opens Origins with one of the most iconic intros in Zombies history. That slow burning build into the riff sets the tone immediately.
