Backpacking across Albania's "Accursed Mountains" (Summer 2017 Part 8)

Here's the penultimate chapter of my epic backpacking trip across 14 different mountain ranges throughout the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

After leaving Kosovo and the Sharr Planina behind, I decided to cross the Albanian Alps into Montenegro. Along the way, I climbed 2694m Maja Jezercë (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maja_Jezerc%C3%AB).
