For parents who drive active kids around, it is with pleasure that as soon as their child gets of age to buy them a car (any car) so we no longer have to be a chauffeur! And for the child, once they receive that car, especially if it’s their first dream car - it will be a memory that shall be cherished for a lifetime. It is the perfect 17th daughter birthday gift.

So, when the moment finally arrives when the teen gets car and the opportunity to capture that first reaction when their eyes gaze upon their new vehicle for the first time - you just HAVE to capture that moment to celebrate, RIGHT?! Of course!

Traditionally, when you watch these types of videos on YouTube, there is a particular script... Child is told to close their eyes, child is escorted to the driveway by a loved one, child opens eyes, everyone yells surprise or happy birthday, child is in shock, parent hands the child the new car keys so the child can believe it’s actually happening, and everyone lives happily ever after. That’s how a NORMAL family would do it…EXCEPT ME!

Being the filmmaker that I am - I just had to do it big! I could not contain my excitement. I had cameras rolling from different angles, a drone taking aerial shots, everyone was in position to ensure the surprise would be flawless so I could get the reaction shots I so longed for! Welp, I got that AND SO MUCH MORE! In fact, there was more than one surprise that would happen that day, which was truly unexpected. You just have to watch it to believe it once the teen gets car! Enjoy!
