DIY WRAP PANTS & TUBE TOP (USING A SERGER) | sew&tell

Hello beautifuls!!

Based on your votes, I created this red wrap pants and matching tube-top set. Super happy with how it turned out, and hope you guys love it too! Don't worry...for anyone who voted for the polka dot set, I'll be making that one very soon :)

Anyways, lets talk about this new machine! SINGER blessed me with this amazing serger and I finally got the chance to read through the manual and set it up. So far I'm in love!! The Professional 5 Serger allows up to 5 threads and there are sooo many variations of overlocks and cover stitches. The best part about a serger is that it stitches AND finishes your seams at the same time:)

I know they could be intimidating, but everything you’ll ever need is in the manual! If you are on the edge about getting one, I say DO IT ! It’s a life changer and all of your garments will have a beautiful finish! :DDD

** If you don’t have a serger (don’t worry), you can replace all of the sewing method with a zig zag stitch on your regular machine!
