This ultimate playlist is dedicated to BTech students (B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electronics and Computer Engineering) preparing for their university exams in Digital Image Processing!. In this playlist, I have put my effort to include video lectures on numerical based questions from the following topics of Digital Image Processing:
Module 1:
Module 1.1: Introduction and Fundamentals:
Digital Image Size Determination, Image Aspect Ratio, Image Baud Rate, A Simple Image Model, Sampling and Quantization, Some Basic Relationships between Pixels. Neighborhood Property, Adjacency Property, Connectivity, Path.
Module 1.2: Intensity Transformations and Spatial Filtering:
Introduction, Some Basic Intensity Transformation Functions, Histogram Processing, Histogram Equalization, Histogram Specification, Local Enhancement, Enhancement using Arithmetic/Logic Operations – Image Subtraction, Image Averaging, Basics of Spatial Filtering, Smoothing - Mean Filter, Order Statistics Filters, Sharpening – The Laplacian.
Module 1.3: Filtering in the Frequency Domain:
Fourier Transform and the Frequency Domain, One-Dimensional Discrete Fourier Transformation, (1-D DFT), One-Dimensional Inverse Discrete Fourier Transformation (1-D IDFT), Two-Dimensional Discrete Fourier Transformation, (2-D DFT), Two-Dimensional Inverse Discrete Fourier Transformation (2-D IDFT), and Basis of Filtering in Frequency Domain
Module 2:
Module 2.1 :Morphological Image Processing:
Introduction, Logical Operations involving Binary Images, Dilation and Erosion, Opening and Closing, The Hit-or-Miss Transformation, Morphological Algorithms – Boundary Extraction, Region Filling, Extraction of Connected Components, Convex Hull, Thinning, Thickening.
Module 2.2: Image Segmentation:
Point, Line & Edge detection, Thresholding, Region based Segmentation, Region Extraction - Pixel Based Approach & Region Based Approach, Edge and Line Detection - Basic Edge Detection, Edge Linking - Hough Transform.
Module 2.3: Representation & Description:
Representation - Boundary Following, Chain Codes; Boundary Descriptors – Shape Numbers & Order, Boundary Tracking algorithm, Chain code (4-directioanl and 8-directional), First Difference, Circular First Difference, Normalized Chain Code.
