The Unlikely Thief Sequel we Found in Thief Simulator

So yeah Phoenix Point turned out to be a huge bummer so let's talk about a much more entertaining game: Thief Simulator. ThiefSim is a first person steal-em-up that reminds me a lot of the Thief games from back in the day with how the name of the game is to steal as much stuff as possible. Sure, it doesn't exactly have that dark, moody vibe but it's certainly got emergent gameplay and plenty of sneaking around in the dark. Is it Thief: deadly shadows or Thief 2? Certainly not. Is is an immersive sim? ehhh, sure; it's hits most of the marks. Is it better than the 2014 thief soft reboot? I'd say so.

The orinal plan for Ion Storm's version of Thief 4 involved Garrett being put in a modern enviorment with something called 'the dagger of ways'. Since Thief 2014 was so disapointing, I'd moving that we call this the unnofical Thief 5 so that we can pretend the series didn't end on such a sour note. If you didn't know already, Eidos Montreal has said that they have no plans to make another thief game :(((
