Jupiter is our wisdom and happiness. If it is in conjunction or in opposition with another planet it can create opportunities and expand all the indications of that planet and the house it rules. Seeing the bigger picture is one of the most amazing of Jupiter's traits, if in good condition and with friendly planet it can bestow generosity and gratefulness. It normally stays in a sign for a year, and has special aspects 5th and 9th houses away from it as well as 7th. It is normally said that Jupiter's aspect is much more blissful than its placement. Jupiter is Jeeva karaka, life force, therefore, it helps any planet sitting with it.
