This is kinda complicated and this was made up in my head, so uh here it is.
The dark shadow at one point in the song is not making a deal with the girl instead it is offering a hand. It then blesses her with a power and a ranking. The shadow thing is meant to help those who are in need or hurt in the universe.
Rank System:
The character has been made the ranking V (stand for something) which is the most powerful under the shadow thing (they have a name, but I will keep it a secret for now).
Another one of my character also come from this system (The one with a red tear mark under the eye) and they are the Ranking SE which is below ranking V.
Each rank does something different.

Sorrows are the people that were beside Three they work for the V rankings.
Ranking V can recruit the Ranking S.

The people ranking higher have more power over others.

The ? choses the ranks of the people.
