Winterize - How I keep my stuff looking and running like NEW. Every year we have to winterize and store our summer equipment and get our winter equipment ready for the brutal winters here in Maine. We average 72 inches (183 cm) of snow per year. Not using and storing your equipment is probably one of the worst things you can do to it. I've learned a few tricks over the years and I'm going to show you some of the things that I do that have worked well for me so that my equipment looks and runs like new once I take it out of storage. This is my least favorite part of the season because it means summer is over and winter is beginning. If you are a DIY person, you can easily keep your equipment in top running condition and save a bunch of money by not paying someone to do it for you. It's very simple and I'm going to show you everything that I do to winterize my equipment.
