Peace Corps Swearing-in Ceremony, Apia, Samoa, December 11, 2015

Ambassador Mark Gilbert swore in the 87th group of Peace Corps volunteers in a ceremony held at the TATTE Conference Center, Apia, Samoa.
The new volunteers, who range in age from their early 20s to 65, will work in partnership with the Samoa Ministry of Education, Sports, and Culture for the 2016 and 2017 school years as English Literacy Resource Volunteers working alongside school principals and teachers at government primary schools throughout Upolu and Savaii to promote teaching and learning capacities in English Literacy.
