Principal Akbar Cook on Building The Ellen DeGeneres Urban Farm

Ellen welcomed back Newark, New Jersey principal Akbar Cook, who previously received $100,000 from Ellen in recognition of his incredible work for his school and community. He shared that after careful consideration, they decided to build The Ellen DeGeneres Urban Farm, which provides fresh food for the community and residual income for the student workers. He also showed off the amazing mural of Ellen on his school's building, and Ellen and her friends at Lowe's gave him a gift to help continue their efforts.
