Acoustic diagnostic methods detect faulty components or critical processes quickly and precisely due to their unique noise patterns. As a wide range of materials can be evaluated, it can be used for condition monitoring of wear and other parts in many industries (automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, paper and food industry, energy industry, etc.). The acoustic diagnostic techniques can be furthermore combined with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence methods, such as pattern recognition and machine learning, which enable automatic and reliable analysis in real time.
