Building the Honda Racing 2020 Fireblade SP - Part 2

Honda Racing continues work on the new look Fireblade SP before the start of the 2020 British Superbike Championship.

In this part 2, the Honda Racing team continues work on the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP that Andrew Irwin and brother and newcomer to the team, Glenn will race in the BSB 2020, as well as Tom Neave and Davey Todd in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship.

Watch as the Honda BSB team work on the fuel tank and gear box with partners in Talos Design and Nova Racing Transmissions. We see footage from the workshops of both companies and talk with the engineers and craftsmen there about the pieces of the puzzle they help the team with.

Following pre-season testing in Spain in March, and after the UK's lockdown, with just four weeks left until the delayed start of the British Superbike Championship, the team had a private test at Cadwell Park to prepare for the first race at Donington Park. The series will take place over six rounds and each weekend will host three British Superbike races, which means this year’s title will be decided across an 18-race season.

The debut of the all-new 2020 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP has been eagerly awaited on British soil by both the Honda Racing team and BSB fans alike, and the team is eager to see how it will fare in a racing environment.
