3 Essentials for Equality | Joel Green | TEDxHopewellValleySchools
Living in a world of undesired racial tension and divide, former professional basketball player Joel Green was inspired to give this intriguing talk. His goal is to tap into the mentality of change and to help bring about more equality in America. He provides key steps that we can all apply to assist in bringing about this end goal. Joel Green is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Rider University, where he attained an honors degree in Psychology and played Division 1 basketball. After graduating, he was fortunate to travel the world playing professional basketball in multiple countries and also enjoyed a few months of training with the Philadelphia 76ers. Since stepping away from the game, he has become Founder & CEO of Pro Level Training LLC, whose partners include the likes of Nike, Body Amor Sports Drinks, and Dick Sporting Goods. His business has become one of the fastest growing athletic training companies in the country. Joel also has the honor of being a National Director for Nike Sports Camps. In recent years, he has been featured on a TV show, multiple commercials and has been the face of Cheez-It’s crackers for their national Celebrity Crunch Classic campaign, being seen on millions of boxes across the country. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
