Hytale Runs GREAT on Linux! Flatpak Install + First Gameplay

Welcome back! Today I’m showing how to set up Hytale on Linux using Flatpak, step by step, and then jumping in for a first gameplay test.

We start on the Hytale website, download the Linux Flatpak launcher, install it through Discover, and walk through the login process (which opens in your web browser). From there, we let the game download and jump straight into gameplay.

After installing, I:

Test Hytale running at 4K
Go through graphics and performance settings
Create a world and explore
Check out crafting, combat, and exploration
Talk about performance, CPU usage, and overall experience on Linux

So far, Hytale runs extremely well on Linux, feels smooth, and performs better than expected — even at high resolution. This is a native Linux experience, and it’s great to see how well it works.
