Gnome 40 a First Look at a Big Step Forward - The Features You Really Should See

I found big improvements in the new release of GNOME 40 which had me impressed. That says a lot coming from a KDE kind of guy!

Here are some of the changes:

Misc changes in the design
Work spaces are now horizontal instead of vertical
The dash is now at the bottom of the screen
Improved keyboard shortcut settings
New touch pad gestures for switching work-spaces
New touch pad gestures for accessing activities
Software app has a new look on the homepage
Nautilus can extract password-protected .zip archives
Nautilus has better preferences layout
Compose key setting for adding extra keyboard characters
The "About" in settings finally shows hardware & vendor info
Gnome Maps scales down for mobile & better places icons
The Weather app has a new look to it
GNOME Web / Epiphany has better tab layouts.
