Drum Majors lead Pipes and Drums playing Scotland the Brave opening 2025 Oldmeldrum Highland Games

Drum Major Bill Barclay leads the massed pipes and drums opening march around the Games field during the 2025 Oldmeldrum Sports and Highland Games. These were held at Oldmeldrum in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on Saturday 21st June 2025, with the bands playing "Scotland the Brave" and "Flett from Flotta".

Along with Drum Major Barclay (centre) were Drum Majors (L-R) Walter Davidson, Neil Jamieson, Robb Cumming, (Bill) Ronnie Rennie, Phillip Michie and Derek Dean. The bands taking part were the Lonach Pipe Band, Huntly & District Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band, Inverurie Pipe Band, Towie Pipe Band, City of Aberdeen Pipe Band and members of Highland Granite Pipes & Drums.
