Something For John and Tim Rogers - Uptown Funk (Corner Hotel, Melbourne 18th April 2015)

This was the first of two benefit gigs held to raise money for the family of Something For Kate touring guitarist John Hedigan, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year.

The show was performed under the name Something For John, and featured the 'Something For Kate boy band' - Paul and Clint from SFK with Adrian Moyles (the Gin Club) playing Hedigan's parts and Patrick Bourke (Jen Cloher/Dempsey's solo band) filling in for an ill Stephanie Ashworth.

They were augmented by a near-constant procession of special guests including Tim Rogers, Adalita Srsen, Claire Bowditch, Alex Gow and Joel Shirbisher, as well as Hedigan himself.

The Corner Hotel and all of the performers donated their services for free so that all the money from the bar and ticket sales could go to John and his family.

Needless to say, it was an amazing and very emotional night.
