FULL Rear Mount Turbo G35 / 350Z Walkaround & Review (+G37, 370Z etc.)

This is a detailed walkaround of a rear mount kit I made for my G35 Sedan, as well as my other mods. This also applies to 350Z, 370Z, and select G, M, Q, EX and FX series. I originally put this all together because I do my own work and had most of this stuff lying around the garage, I personally only spend around $800.

FULL DETAILS:
Hot side:
Test pipes $80-250
Ebay T3 flange $40
Ebay HX40 ~$150 (look for 99% rated sellers on ebay)
2.5 inch piping ~$20-50
Filter $20
If you have a cat back I recommend selling it, you'll need 2.5 pipe back to the turbo

Cold side (DE):
eBay 2.5 inch intercooler kit $165
eBay 2.5 inch (additional) intercooler piping $100
Autozone / Spectre 4 inch MAF housing $40 or upgraded MAF
3 inch intake / IC piping $0-200 depending on what you choose / already have
You might need extra couplers, clamps etc. I get em all on Amazon

Cold side (HR / VHR):
2 out 1 in Intercooler $270
eBay 2.5 inch intercooler piping $100 (x2)
Intakes $0 - 150+
Once again you might need extra couplers etc.

Oil system:
I recommend to get an oil pan spacer ($110), I personally drilled the upper oil pan and used a 10AN no weld bung
1/8 NPT to 1/8 BSPT adapter $9
1/8 NPT oil pressure sensor tee block $10
Vibrant 1/8 NPT to 4AN adapter $8
EVIL ENERGY 16ft 4AN braided oil line kit $67
Amazon T3 4AN oil feed .35" restrictor (I drilled to about .70") $10
Amazon T3 10AN oil drain $10

(you can use regular oil line it’s cheaper)
Aeroquip 3/8 NPT to 10AN adapter (2) $20
Amazon Amarine made 3.7 GPM oil scavenge pump $70
(You can pay more for a quieter one)
Kinugawa 10AN no weld oil drain bung $14
eBay catch can + autozone oil lines ~$45
Or avoid all this and get a Comp lol

Supporting mods:
Amazon 255 LPH fuel pump $30 (Or just get a real one)
eBay Denso 850cc refurbished injectors (935cc @52 psi) $160
NGK 6619 one heat range colder spark plugs (LFR6AIX-11) $40
Heat wrap materials, amazon $35
Gauges are technically optional but you need a boost gauge and therefore a gauge pod ~$40+
eBay manual boost controller $30

Set aside about $1,700 for a DE, $1,900 - 2,100 for an HR / VHR
Don't forget labor and tuning if you don't do it yourself
Cut the trunk sedan guys it was worth it
