Kyrgyz President Japarov Does Not Leave His Country's Flag on the Ground

President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan attended the events held on May 9 Victory Day at Red Square in Moscow, the capital of Russia.

During the ceremonies in Moscow, leaders of participating countries and heads of international organizations laid wreaths and carnations at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden, paying their respects.

During the "family photo" session at the monument, President Japarov noticed the Kyrgyz flag placed on the ground. He picked up the flag and put it in his pocket.

This gesture by the Kyrgyz President received extensive coverage in the national media.
