FULL THROTTLE! Icelandair Boeing 757-300 Takeoff at Keflavik (Reykjavik) | HD In-Flight Video

Hey guys, for today's video, here's an Icelandair Boeing 757-300WL departing runway 11 at Keflavik/Reykjavik Airport, filmed from Seat 13F in front of the engine! For the takeoff, the pilots did not use any derate so we were using the max thrust that the 757-300's two RB211's could generate. The winds were also very strong, 45kt gusts! You can also see that there was a lot of rain in the area so we were into the clouds very quickly. Fortunately, the departure was not turbulent at all with all the weather in the area!

The next video will be of the landing of this aircraft at JFK - we landed on the VOR 13L approach, but we were originally vectored for the VOR/DME 22L until we got changed. It was also the first officer flying, and it was his first time flying the approach into 13L!
