In Focus: Gezary Matuda vs Ffion Davies

The first in a new series, “In Focus: Matuda vs Davies” showcases Polaris athletes with the care, detail and attention they deserve. Through our talented group of filmmakers and editors, we hope to show the thoughts, feelings and emotions of the competitors who step onto our mats. In this first video, we focus on Gezary Matuda vs Ffion Davies, a historic match that crowned Ffion as our first ever women’s under 55kg champion. The narrative for this contest was a familiar one - the well established champion in Matuda and the up and coming challenger in Davies.
