In this video, I discuss Powell's recent hawkish comments, and its effects on the stock market.

Powell will continue tapering and using hawkish rhetoric until something breaks-- at which point, he will need to revert to massive money printing and being the buyer of last resort for US Treasuries.

The Fed is like the Soviet Politburo, but worse. Rather than deciding the price and supply of bread, it gets to decide the price and supply of money. This will end badly, as central planning always does.
