Wes Craven's New Nightmare - Movie Review

After the disaster that was The Final Nightmare, New Line looked to the man who created Freddy Krueger to bring him back from the dead. Wes Craven's New Nightmare has our favorite dream invader trying to cross over into our reality by preying on those who created the original classic: A Nightmare on Elm Street. Though audiences in 1994 definitely were not ready for such a unique form of storytelling, there is no denying the genius and risky spin Wes Craven took with his final installment in the Nightmare franchise. Is Wes Craven's New Nightmare still a highlight in the franchise or has this meta-movie aged poorly?
