Arduino RFID Door Lock Tutorial
Hey guys, so here it is, my tutorial for my door lock system. Please let me know if you have any questions, I will address them to the best of my abilities. Code is here: https://github.com/SupaTreadz/RFID_DoorLock
A wire diagram in Fritzing can be found here: http://fritzing.org/projects/rfid_doorlock_v4

RFID Reader ID-20LA - https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11828
RFID Breakout Board - https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13030
125kHz RFID Button - https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9417
+wires, header pins, connectors, wire ties, enclosure, etc
*disclaimer* - these 125khz RFID systems have potential security vulnerabilities that you should be aware of. Use at your own risk. Here is a project shown on Hackaday http://www.proxclone.com/spoofer.html that allows any tag ID to be transmitted. The way I somewhat mitigate this is that I treat the card ID like any other secure number, and I don't use tags that have the ID printed on them. The only way to get the ID from my tag is to scan it. Another option is to add a second verification system, like a keypad.
