What are cutting gloves and why you should wear them

Cut resistant gloves ( https://amzn.to/2xMVNqb ) are the best money you'll ever spend in your kitchen. Don't believe me? Then you've never cut your hand badly before. These won't make your hands cut or stab-proof, but they will help you avoid most kitchen injuries.

I'm currently using these ones from NoCry ( https://amzn.to/2Do68iD ) but I think they are all the same.

Keep in mind, they are not perfect and you can still get hurt wearing them so be careful with knives! They are also not heat-proof so don't try to pick up anything hot wearing them!

These are the metal ones I mentioned: https://amzn.to/2xJhS99 , that's overkill for normal kitchen work, and it's really aimed at shucking oysters and other serious knife-work.
