Chain pull technique no 1 - Today you will see how you paint an abstract and very colorful picture with a large pearl necklace and liquid acrylic paints. The chain pull technique is not new, but there are always other exciting abstract drawings. How you put the fluid acrylic paints on the canvas and in which direction you pull the string - that determines the later work of art.

In this chain pull technique, I'll show you a very colorful example with a large pearl necklace.
I don't even know exactly what you normally do with the chain, I discovered it at a flea market and thought you can certainly paint great pictures with it.

As you can see, the technique is not difficult to use, but what you should have ready before you pull the string across the canvas is a container with which you can catch the chain. Otherwise you will only have your whole hands full of acrylic paint and too much will drip onto the canvas.
