Trans-Siberian Railway | Lake Baikal (Olkhon Island)

We were looking forward to visit this place from the day we started planning our journey. For us Olkhon island was a must stop on The Trans-Siberian Railway route. This small island is home to only 1500 people, add the fact that there are no paved roads and that electricity only arrived in 2005 and you will get how remote this island feels.
We spent four days here, enjoying stunning sceneries and hardly believing that places like this exist.
