What could have been a 107-lot subdivision near Eagle Lake will now be part of the eventual realignment of Thompson Nursery Road. The Board approved the $2.7 million purchase of 48 acres through a right-of-way agreement between the county and H.R. Baxter & Sons Enterprises Inc. The property, which is along the eastern side of Cameron Road in Eagle Lake, had been slated to become a subdivision by the developer.
