as i close out my day, i'd like to leave u with a blurb of self-reflection as well as a question. what's something nice you've done for yourself this week? For me it was taking time to grocery shop, stock up the fridge, and cook a REAL meal- haha, finally. it's been a while i've used the kitchen for anything other than boiling ramen/dumplings, or microwaving frozen meals. i'm reminded how lucky i am to have access to a variety of markets, where i can pick and choose what i'm craving (and afford certain plant based options), and to come home to enjoy them. the task of setting aside time to meal prep and cook turned into a burden for me recently rather than what it used to be, self-care and a way to relax. i thought what ever is taking me from work/productivity is a distraction, and less important. i've recognized how important it is to nourish myself, that's also a form of success- good health and also caring for oneself. i shouldn't lose sight and focus only on success that is monetized.
I'd love to know what's something you did for yourself, and i hope that reflecting on it makes you appreciate you💕
