What you need:
• DSLR, GoPro, Xiaomi Yi or any other action cam
• Fisheye lens (for DSLR)
• Tripod
• Panoramic Head (DIY: https://goo.gl/qncYLq)
• Stitching software (AutoPanoVideo, VideoStich Studio)
Tips & Tricks
• Shoot you videos by sections
• Mount camera vertically on tripod
• Have control over space if possible
• Have subject in the absolute center
• Don't let your subjects or objects cross to areas that are no being filmed at a given moment.

Knowledge of shooting 360º images helps a lot. Many of the same concepts apply.
