Fix slow or poor-quality copies | HP Smart Tank 520, 580, & 5100 printers | HP Support

If the quality of a copied document is poor, the copying is slow, and the Photo icon displays on the printer control panel, then you can resolve this issue by changing the printer from “Photo Copy” mode to “Document Copy” mode.
