Nerve sparing radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer - Technique update (minimal edition)
This video is our updated technique for Nerve Sparing Radical Hysterectomy (type C1) for stage IB1 cervical cancer.
Special attention to hypogastric nerve identification with Latzko and Okabayashi plane dissection.
Uterine vessels ligation is specially clear on the left side around 35 min. As well as deep uterine vein resection and nerve preservation around 55 min.
Just minimal edition to cut the moments with the camera outside the abdomen.
Total surgical time was 88 min. Bleeding was less than 50cc. Patient was discharged on the 1st postoperative day and had no complications.
