and subsequent Venezuela protests and Venezuela riots in 2017. Extreme inflation and economic crisis led to a humanitarian crisis in Caracas and throughout Venezuela. Caracas Venezuela faced food shortages. This was followed by violent protests and other violence in the country. Nicolás Maduro Moros or Presidente Maduro is currently the president of Venezuela and has been since 2013. Gianpaolo showed NowThis News what life in Venezuela at the time was like.
