How to Remove Lock Screen on Android Phone (Turn Off Passcode)

Method 1: Remove Lock Screen via Settings (No Data Loss)
Step 1: Open Settings

Unlock your phone using your current PIN, password, pattern, or biometric method.

Open the Settings app from the home screen or app drawer.

Step 2: Navigate to Lock Screen Settings
Find Security or Lock Screen:

On most Android phones: Go to Settings - Security or Security & Privacy.
On Samsung phones: Go to Settings - Lock Screen or Security and Privacy.
On some devices: Look for Settings - Lock Screen & Security or Biometrics and Security.

Tap Screen Lock or Lock Screen Type:
This option lists the current lock method (e.g., PIN, Password, Pattern, Fingerprint).

Step 3: Disable the Lock Screen
Enter Current Credentials:

Select the current lock type (e.g., PIN, Password, or Pattern) and enter it to authenticate.

Choose None or Swipe:
