America reiterates its support of Israel’s defence
US Department of Defence Press Secretary Major General Patrick Ryder says America is going to continue to support Israel’s defence.
He also said America firmly believes that diplomacy is the “only way” to resolve tensions in the Middle East.
“At the end of the day, we firmly believe that diplomacy is the only way to resolve these tensions and get people back into their homes on both sides of the border,” he told Sky News Australia.
“We’re going to continue to support Israel’s defence.”
