MINI Cooper A-Pillar Replacement from Mini Mania

The Right Side (passenger side on US models) A-pillar trim is the black plastic trim piece between the front windshield and the driver's side door glass. (4) A-pillar clips are included with the cover and are also available to purchase separately.

When your windshield is replaced, you will need these new A-pillar covers. There are (4 ) hidden screws behind the seal of your MINI's door jam. Windshield installers sometimes miss the hidden screws and break the tabs that are on the A-pillar during the windshield replacement. Once the screw tabs are broken, only the 4 plastic rivets will hold the cover in place and.... it won't stay very long!

From our experience, these parts are not re-usable once removed. If you re-use your old A-pillar trim, there is a very good chance they will fall from your MINI somewhere on the road when you least expect it...

The 'molded piece' can be re-used, but if it is missing, then you need to order one per side.
