Acoustic Curves Percussion Ensemble

The Valley High School percussion section worked incredibly hard putting together this great piece by Animusic. Over spring break, Nathan Gilbert undertook the tremendous task of transcribing their original and putting it together for our percussion section. Our instructors graciously let us perform it at our Spring concert, but we wanted to take it a step further. Nathan planned out exactly how he wanted a video of it to look, inspired by Pentatonix videos, and we began to record everybody.

With just two GoPros and a Guitar Hero World Tour microphone, we recorded over 50 GBs worth of content. In the end, we couldn't be more happy with how it turned out. Thank you EVERYBODY who helped make this video, from our directors who dealt with us using the band hall all the time for over a month, to the students for doing a great job performing it, Nathan for transcribing it, and Animusic for writing it.
