Bariatric surgery is a surgery performed for willing and suitable patients to lose weight.

This operation provides significant weight loss by removing parts of the stomach and fusing together the remaining tissue, resulting in a much smaller grain. How much of the stomach is removed varies according to the type of bariatric surgery.
