BMW R850R Oil Level Sight Glass Replacement

1997 BMW R858R Oil Sight Glass removal and replacement. This is a fairly easy job that can quickly get difficult if the old glass is seized onto the engine block. Draining the oil is not necessary if the bike is leaned to the right side but we wanted it on the center stand for additional safety so we just drained the oil and refilled with fresh oil.
