[Joe] Ajedi seems like he grew up over night! It suddenly hit me how well he's been able to communicate and comprehend with his surroundings. I remember thinking to myself when Ajedi was first born how it would be forever till he starts walking, talking, and going through all the typical things a child would go through. Well, every parent in the world was right when they said how time flies by with kids. He's walking around like a newly promoted manager, thinking that he has enough knowledge and know-how. Ajedi is still a baby however. Fathoming the concept of salvation, heaven, and God isn't something he's able to grasp just yet, but by showing him what's important to me and the family, he will grow into understanding by watching those he looks up to for guidance. My prayer for him is to grow with the consciousness of God in his spirit.

(Deuteronomy 6:6-9) These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
