Teaching Paralympics : Nur Syahidah Alim - Singapore Para Archer

Nur Syahidah Alim is a Singaporean national athlete who competes in archery.
In 2019 she became the world’s number one para archer.
She also has the unique distinction of being the first archer ever to represent Singapore at the Paralympics.

In June 2019, she became the first Singaporean in history to become a world champion in para-archery; winning a gold medal at the 2019 World Archery Para Championships in Netherlands. In October that year, she became the world ranked number one paralympic archer in the individual compound women open rankings. Syahidah Alim was named Sportswoman of the Year at the 2020 Singapore Disability Sports Awards for her accomplishments over the years.
