DIY POOL NOODLE Fake Bamboo Alien Plants

I saw this creative, easy, inexpensive DIY project on a website called “Propnomicon” using pool noodles and decided to give it a try. This idea can be useful for so many different settings and themes such as outer space, underwater, a swamp, a pirate theme, you name it.

Here’s what we’ll need:
• Pool noodles (Dollar Stores typically carry them.) I just happened to have green ones, but you can use any color you like.
• A heat gun, which is very HOT! - Although it may look similar to a hair dryer, it is not the same. It IS, in fact, much hotter. So use caution.
• A knife of some sort such as a utility knife. I had this Retractable/ Razor Scraper handy, so that is what I’m using.
