LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY | HIDDEN GEMS IN SOMERSET, ENGLAND

In this video...
I visited a place in Somerset where I have lived for 7 years and after another 7 years I went back to explore more in the area! I am glad I did walk thru the beach and turned to a footpath behind the seaside.
Dead trees, the marsh, Porlock Weir This area is inundated at high tide due to a breach in the shingle ridge (1996). The area is slowly changing from farmland to salt marsh. The National Trust, who own & manage the area have taken the decision not to protect the area. A good example of managed retreat. The trees were killed by the inundation of sea water.
