Project 782 showcases a full transformation of an Epiphone Flying V through a complete 100% nitrocellulose refinish in Deep Black, followed by a carefully executed hand-aged relic process.

The lacquer is applied thin and even, allowing the wood to resonate freely while delivering a deep, rich black that reacts beautifully to light and wear. Once cured, the guitar is aged entirely by hand: natural edge wear, subtle checking, softened contours, and surface textures that evoke decades of real stage use.

Every step respects traditional finishing methods, with no artificial shortcuts. The goal is not to fake age, but to recreate the visual and tactile feel of a well-played vintage instrument.
