RONIN Gold | The AAR | 1/2 Bravo 1st Platoon 2006 | Episode 5

As the battalion splits up Weapons Platoon ahead of deployment, integration into a dedicated rifle squad (1st Platoon) brings together a diverse, dysfunctional, but incredibly lethal network of operators. This episode introduces the squad's cast of characters and covers the violent physical proficiency of MOUT town training that ultimately cemented squad acceptance.

​Operational Highlights:

​The Cast of Characters: Introductions to Poker, Dirt Bag, Tyson, Donkey Kong, Shrek, and Platoon Commander Jeezy.

​The Prince of Africa: The anomaly of the Ugandan Marine who couldn't breach a door to save his life.

​MOUT Town Breaching: Earning the squad leader's trust by kicking a door so hard the foot went straight through the panels.

​The Belligerent Flat Top: Rocking the Ivan Drago haircut to establish a new identity.

​There was a lot of dysfunction still, but we were a well-oiled machine. I would have followed those men into hell.
