„I think I first learned to swim and then to walk.“

Anne Tavaret is a passionate surfer and has been for fifty years. In 1974, she was one of the first women to participate in a surfing competition and in the Surf World Contest in 1980.
Born in Morocco, she has traveled to many places in the world. Now she lives in Biarritz in France. There she enjoys her life and of course surfing. We were able to meet Anne 2021 in Portugal and have an interview with this inspiring woman.
